OUR

MINISTRIES

At Dorr Bible Church we host a number of ministries to aid in encouraging hearts and equipping Christians for the work of the Gospel. The goal of these ministries is to create personable relationships with other believers through fellowship and biblical study. All our teachers strive to take the teachings of the Word and deliver it in a way that is practical and understood by all believers whether old or new. This list does not encompass all our ministries available, but it will serve to give you an idea of what options are available to you.

Children's Ministry

We value children greatly and are dedicated to disciplining them and teaching them the ways of Christ. Our staff work hard every week to deliver a meaningful message and to engage the children in the Bible. We have a couple programs that help us achieve this such as

Children's Sunday School: Sundays,10:00am

Children's Church: Sundays, 11:00am

Youth Ministry

The youth are important to our church. Our church recognizes them as the next generation and our next church leaders and ought to be taken seriously. At Dorr Bible Church we seek to engage the youth in fun activities, Christian fellowship with other teens, and teaching them the Bible to help equip them as they begin to face the day to day struggles of adulthood.

Teens face adversaries every day that many people do not even know about. Because of this our staff creates personal relationships with the youth, teaches God's Word practically, and offers free counseling. It is our goal to create the best Christ-driven support group any youth could have access to.

Sunday School: Sundays 10:00am

Community Outreach

At Dorr Bible Church we not only seek to minister within our walls, but to engage within our community. We have partnered with the Dorr Business Association offering volunteers for community events, worked with Project Hope to assist those less fortunate, promote local blood drives, and create outreach events at our church so that we will connect with those within our community. We are here to serve the Lord and to serve others and community outreach and service are one of the many ways we can achieve that.

If you know of any local events that Dorr Baptist Church could serve at, please contact us and we would love to speak with you.

Pastoral Support

Our Pastor, Travis Huseby, is more than just a presence behind a pulpit. He is committed to the congregation and serving the Lord by serving others. His experience brings new ministries and outreach programs to help our church follow the Great Commission and bring new believers the Gospel. We believe that the church ought to be a Spiritual family that supports one another and our pastor is one of many who fulfill that conviction.

Adult Ministries

It's our goal to equip, engage, and enable you to reach your spiritual potential for the Lord. It is for this purpose that we strive to have as many options to you as possible. We have multiple ministries such as Life Group, Women's Bible Study, Men's Ministry and more. We are always striving to add to what we have available for you and your loved ones. These ministries will equip you in knowledge of the Word, engage you in prayerful fellowship, and enable you to live a life fully dedicated to the work of the Lord.

Pastor's Place: Wednesdays, 6:00pm

Sunday School: Sundays, 10:00am

Missions

At Dorr Bible Church we are committed to missions. We believe in order to reach the world the church needs to be involved in missions. We financially support multiple missionaries placed all around the world. Anywhere from Togo Africa to the United Kingdom, and we prayerfully support the Lord's Work globally and locally.

We believe that the Great Commission is a command to be obeyed. Not an option to be considered. If you have any questions regarding our missions involvement feel free to reach out.

And I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?” Then I said, “Here I am! Send me.”
